Vivid Sydney 2023 Guide: Food, Lights and More!

Vivid Sydney is back in 2023 to brighten up our Australian winter! Lights are on 26th May - 17th June 2023, 6-11pm all across Sydney city.

There’s are over 65 different light and art exhibitions this year, with the majority of installations across the Circular Quay, Barangaroo and Darling Harbour areas.

Food at Vivid Sydney 2023

There’s are several places to get food this year at Vivid Sydney!

Vivid Fire Kitchen, Barangaroo:
Located in the Cutaway, this precinct has a variety of curated BBQ, food and drinks, with live demonstrations from talented BBQ pit masters.

Street Food Live:
Located at the Overseas Passenger Terminal in Circular Quay, this area has various stalls serving carnival style food.

Vivid chef series:
Various world renowned chefs creating bespoke dining experiences during the Vivid Sydney period - check out the Vivid Sydney website for participating restaurants.

Getting to Vivid Sydney 2023

Public transport is the preferred method for travel to Vivid Sydney.

Limited parking is available around Sydney city during the Vivid Sydney period - if you plan to drive, pre-book parking for a less stressful experience!

It’s important to note that there are some road closures around the city to accommodate for installations.

Some Light Rail closures between Town Hall and Circular Quay are also in place to allow for more pedestrian activity.
