Slim’s Quality Burger, Marrickville - Review
Slim’s Quality Burger is a vibrant restaurant in Sydney’s Inner West, serving freshly crafted American-style burgers. We recently visited this up-and-coming burger joint to try out the food.
Located in Marrickville Metro’s revamped eating precinct, Slim’s Quality Burger is in a convenient location with plenty of parking. Walking into the restaurant, the decor felt like a modern take an old-school American diner, with red accents and comfortable seating. We really liked the fact that Slim’s has an open glass kitchen, so you can see all the burger preparation happening before your eyes!
It was pretty busy when we visited, but we skipped the queue by ordering and paying on the Slim’s Quality Burger app. We ordered several burgers, including the works, OG crispy chicken, deluxe cheeseburger and crispy chicken club. We also got some cheese fries, loaded fries and soft drinks.
The burgers here were like a cross between American styles of In-N-Out and Shake Shack - they we simple and tasty. Our top pick here at Slim’s Quality Burger would have to be The Works burger. Loaded with a cheesy beef patty, bacon and fresh salad, it had all the components of a satisfying burger and went down a treat. Another standout was the Crispy Chicken Club - the fried chicken had a deliciously seasoned batter and was super crispy with bacon. The only thing that could have been better were the fries - they weren’t very crispy, although the sauce and toppings were good.
Overall we had a great time at Slim’s Quality Burgers. The burger were delicious and super affordable (the most expensive burger on the menu is $9.50!). Also, the burgers didn’t leave us feel greasy and sick afterwards! We’ll be back again for sure.
UPDATE: Slim’s Quality Burger also has locations in Westfield Sydney and Mount Druitt as well.
